With the snowfall this afternoon, this is a good time to share our school closure and delay communication process. 
We attempt to announce delays or closures as early as possible. Please assume that schools are running on time if there is no notice of delay or cancellation on the district’s website. 
How to Learn if School is Delayed or Closed: 
  • Phone, Text, & ParentSquare - The district will send alerts to parents/guardians as soon as there is a delay or closure decision. Families can receive alerts by ensuring their contact information is updated in Skyward and that they have opted to receive those communications. Families should contact their child's school if they have further questions.
  • Social Media - District Facebook & Instagram pages
  • Media - Local television and radio stations frequently run delay and closure announcements.
